What is a free consultation?

A free consultation is a discovery call designed to better understand your accounting needs and overall situation. During this call, you will:

  • Share details about your current situation

  • Learn about your general options based on the information provided

  • Speak with an experienced accountant about how your issues can be resolved and how ongoing services may support you

What should I expect during the consultation?

  • Consultations are up to 30 minutes in length

  • Meetings are held via Zoom video call

  • Your questions will be addressed

  • You will receive an overview of your available options

Note: Any call exceeding 30 minutes will be billed at a flat rate of $250/hour (no proration).  We will always notify you before transitioning into a paid session.

How should I prepare for my consultation?

To make the most of your time, please have any relevant documents and your questions available during your appointment.

Write your questions down prior to the meeting. 

Gather all documents and place in a folder or envelope.

What is included in the consultation?

  • Discussion of your available options

  • Overview of the engagement process

  • Explanation of how we can assist you

  • Review of service recommendations and pricing

What is NOT included in the consultation?

  • Specific or detailed advice on how to handle your situation

  • Any accounting work or services performed 

What is your cancellation and missed appointment policy?

  • You may reschedule your free consultation once with at least 24 hour advance notice

  • Any late cancellations or missed appointments will result in forfeiture of the free consultation

What happens after the consultation?

  • After your consultation, you will receive a proposal outlining recommended services and next steps.
